Hey there! I’m Tanya Diaz, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself. As a clinical psychologist and the sixth child in a big, loving family of eight, I appreciate the variety of experiences that make us who we are. Growing up as the daughter of Mexican immigrants, I’m proud to speak Spanish and embrace my roles as a mom, sister, aunt, and ally.
I truly enjoy offering culturally sensitive and evidence-based therapy to adults and teens, especially those dealing with anxiety and past traumas. By using mindfulness techniques along with cognitive-behavioral strategies and religion or spirituality, I help my clients continue their healing journey feeling supported
I focus on trauma-informed therapy that encourages everyone to tap into their inner strength—because we all have it! I believe that resilience and self-awareness are essential to the therapeutic process, and I’m here to guide you through this.
Through listening, education, and support, I’m dedicated to helping individuals on their journey to better self-care.
